Forklift Truck Training

Our forklift truck training and testing courses are delivered by fully accredited and experienced instructors. We have 2 sites for our forklift truck training; Skelmersdale, Lancashire and Aintree, Liverpool. We are an ITSSAR accredited training provider and are thoroughly monitored ensuring you receive the best quality tuition.

We offer training courses for novices through to experienced operators including those who just require a re-test to update their card.

Successful trainees will be awarded a certificate and photo ID card upon the completion of their course.

Operator Training

The current lift truck operator training courses we offer include:

  • Novice for trainees with no experience on lift trucks
  • Experienced for candidates with lift truck experience, but no formal training,certificate or licence
  • Refresher for existing lift truck operators, who have previously held a licence
  • Conversion for certified trainees wishing to operate an alternative type of lift truck

* All of our courses operate under the maximum ratio of 1 Instructor: 3 trainees

Forklift Truck Instructor Training

We now offer Forklift Truck Instructor courses for experienced operators who hold a current or refreshed basic operator certificate (less than 12 months old).

These courses will enable companies to train their own staff and issue internal basic operator certification:

* Instructors must become accredited in order to provide commercial training approved by the accrediting body

Initial for operators who wish to provide operator training for their employer or on a commercial basis.

Assimilation for lift truck instructors registered with another HSE recognised accrediting body or whose registration has lapsed for more than 12 months, but less than 5 years.

Re-registration for instructors who need to renew their registration.

*A refresher/retest may be required prior to the commencement of any of the above courses

Associated Courses

We also provide associated courses aimed at engineers, operators, staff and supervisors:

  • FLT Appreciation for Supervisors and Managers for supervisors in control of FLT operations
  • FLT Awareness for staff in daily contact with forklift trucks (non FLT drivers)
  • FLT Awareness for engineers, operators and supervisors
